A Little Bit About Myself :- N L Jewaria
Ever since my youth days I was always fascinated to the riches of Rajasthan. It's Art, Culture, Dances, Fairs, Festivals. Forts, Monuments, Wildlife, Life & People etc. were so dominant to me that I took up drawing and painting as my career in the initial years to express Rajasthan and its beautiful Cultural Heritage. But due to various limitations associated with this field the basic objective of exploring Rajasthan was defeated and hence I realized that it was through field of Art Photography I could do some meaningful assignments. Year 1990, I started my journey as a amateur freelance photographer by joining the photography club. This year my first effort was acknowledged by the DIPR department on the theme Tourist Places of Rajasthan which brought me a suitable reward.
Department of tourism, Art & Culture and Rajasthan Patrika were the first who accepted my work and provided me a suitable platform to promote my photographic activities. The professional guidance and directions imparted by these departments not only did contributed in enhancing my enthusiasm for shooting Rajasthan but also developed the sense of understanding the minutest details of picturesque view of Rajasthan.
My artistic slides have been duly accepted and published in the prestigious posters of Jaisalmer, Ajmer, Hand Crafted Traditions (Blue Pottery) , B.M. Birla Auditorium and Convention Centre, Jaipur, Desert Festival, Jaisalmer Calendars, Coffee Table Books, Brochures and other literature released by the Deptt. of Tourism, Art & Culture, Govt. of Rajasthan and other departments.
I have covered most of Fairs and Festivals of Rajasthan, Village Life, Historical Monuments, Forts & Palaces, Tourist Places, Wild Life Centuries and National Parks etc. I have also shooted Palace on Wheels, Train and its destinations throughout Rajasthan including Fatehpur Sikari, Agra and Delhi.
From the last 14 yrs. I have been extensively traveling, meeting and shooting Rajasthan and have covered the widest range of artistic photographs and slides on various subjects. This bank could not be less than 2,00,000 in numbers. The optimum utilization of this rich treasurer has been benefited to Department of Tourism, Art & Culture, Rajasthan on various occasions. This experience has resulted in having 25 states and National Awards by Govt. of Rajasthan and Govt. of India on various nature and levels in the field of Art Photography open competitions till date. These awards were honoured by Lady Vice President of India, HE the Governor of Rajasthan, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Minister for Tourism, Art & Culture, Minister for Forest Deptt. and other higher dignities.
I Have contributed my artistic slides and photographs in daily news paper and magazines. Apart from these different news papers such as Hindustan Times, Rajasthan Patrika, Danik Bhasker, Itwari Patrika, Sujas, Rajasthan Vikas etc. have published my photographs time and again in various publication material.
